In the 3rdth minute of the game Vicente Sadurni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Azul FC's Tolek Skonieczny was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Sadurni in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolek Skonieczny saved Azul FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Vicente Sadurni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tolek Skonieczny was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Aldo Bastian kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Luro AFC's Enrique Mero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Luro AFC from getting a goal against them. If Alvaro Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Luro AFC's goalkeeper Enrique Mero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldo Bastian. Bartolo Oton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Enrique Mero made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Azul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Sadurni came free, but Tolek Skonieczny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luro AFC's Enrique Mero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Luro AFC from getting a goal against them. Tolek Skonieczny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Sadurni went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Santos in the 26th minute of play forced Azul FC's goalkeeper Tolek Skonieczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Bastian got free with Enrique Mero in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Sadurni in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tolek Skonieczny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute, Luro AFC's Moises Txema seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Moises Txema the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Luro AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Moises Txema had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Moises Txema hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes, Azul FC's Aldo Bastian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Enrique Mero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Azul FC reached it. When Aldo Bastian came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Azul FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Bastian couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azul FC's goalkeeper Tolek Skonieczny, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 46 minutes of play Azul FC's Aldo Bastian was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 46th minute, Aldo Bastian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Santos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tolek Skonieczny. Azul FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Sadurni to strike the kick off in the second half. Vicente Sadurni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luro AFC's Alvaro Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alvaro Santos fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luro AFC's protests and gave Alvaro Santos a yellow card for diving instead. Edgard Fonda hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute of the match Rolando Serapio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrique Mero skillfully saved the ball. Vicente Sadurni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Skonieczny having to interfere. Vicente Sadurnis short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Tolek Skonieczny to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Vicente Sadurni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Sadurni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Skonieczny having to interfere. Tolek Skonieczny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Sadurni, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 85 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Austin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Enrique Mero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Luro AFC's zone, Rodolfo Austin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Mero came out of the goal and Rodolfo Austin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Luro AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Emanuel Lopez hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Rodolfo Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azul FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Austin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Mero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
