Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvestre Cebo started the match with the kick off. Sñupi's Cirilo Lano got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Cordara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itacaruaré FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sñupi the free kick. In the 11th match minute, Itacaruaré FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Cordara to maneuver through the defense. Sñupi's Cirilo Lano got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, Igor Gipuzkoa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Francisco Columbo. Igor Gipuzkoa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The supporters of Sñupi booed when Itacaruaré FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Gipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Sñupi defense, Arnaldo Baumer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Columbo. The Sñupi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Columbo should have stopped the shot. Edgard Jago hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Igor Gipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Sñupi got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Gonchan. Igor Gipuzkoa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Columbo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. If Arnaldo Baumer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Gipuzkoa in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Columbo saved Sñupi from getting behind. Cirilo Lano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Quintyn having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Igor Gipuzkoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amado Quintyn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cirilo Lano in the 55th minute. If Igor Gipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sñupi's Blas Quintin got a free kick in the 59th minute. Igor Gipuzkoa struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Francisco Columbo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itacaruaré FC. Francisco Columbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Baumer in the 62nd minute of the match. Francisco Columbo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Gipuzkoa's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The audience was convinced that Igor Gipuzkoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Columbo was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Igor Gipuzkoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Sñupi's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Gipuzkoa came free, but Francisco Columbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Gipuzkoa in the 70th minute of play forced Sñupi's goalkeeper Francisco Columbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Columbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Gipuzkoa in the 73rd minute of play. Nestor Bernat's late challenge caught a Sñupi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Bernat helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Itacaruaré FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Bernat. In the 84th minute Igor Gipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Columbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sñupi's Francisco Columbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Baumer in the 92nd minute of play. Hugo Tartalo's late challenge caught a Itacaruaré FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Tartalo helped the player get up and apologised. Itacaruaré FC were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Sñupi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iker Heriberto took the corner. The corner ended in Iker Heriberto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sñupi's Francisco Columbo did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Itacaruaré FC had won after a very even match.
