The wind increased when Marco Chago made the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Montay was a little too slow when Vicente Sadurni got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-6. A hard shot by Aldo Montel from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Nicolas Montay's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A very good chance. Nicolas Montay had great luck who in the 67thth minute grab hold of the ball when Vicente Sadurni from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The referee ignored Matancilla FC's protests and gave Marco Chago a yellow card for diving instead. Nicolas Montay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Sadurni, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Enrique Mero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Niguel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Sadurni in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Montay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Matancilla FC's zone, Alvaro Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Montay came out of the goal and Alvaro Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Luro AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Matancilla FC throughout the match.
