In the 5th minute, Emanuel Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Siberia's Silvio Bertol broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 8th minute Rodolfo Sol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Vincente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Lon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Remigio in the 13th minute. Igor Lon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Vela in the 26th minute of play. Eliseo Bernebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Amador Vela took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Igor Lon to make any attempt to save it. Delmar Crescencio's late challenge caught a Saavedra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Crescencio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Delmar Crescencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saavedra's Gerardo Remigio got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Saavedra's Amador Vela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Lon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emanuel Ferdinand kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Sol made a kick off. Siberia were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Saavedra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Silvio Bertol took the corner. Tadeo Erdiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Leonides Vincente made a huge save. Gerardo Remigio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvio Hegoi hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Igor Lon came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Saavedra's Gerardo Remigio. But to his dismay, Gerardo Remigio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 91 minutes into the match, Siberia's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Vela came free, but Igor Lon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Siberia defense, Amador Vela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Lon. The Siberia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Lon should have stopped the shot. Tadeo Erdiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Vincente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
