The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind rotycks FC's goalkeeper Romulo Oalo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, rotycks FC's Romulo Oalo got control of the ball when Fabian Chago tried to sneak it across the goal line. Resakiados's Aureliano Librado got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tobias Libertad fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored rotycks FC's protests and gave Tobias Libertad a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to rotycks FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Tobias Libertad hit a great ball. Carlos Rainerio hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes rotycks FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Erruki. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Milton Céliz in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romulo Oalo saved rotycks FC from getting behind. Carlos Rainerio kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play rotycks FC's Tobias Libertad was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Paulo Gaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Reyes having to interfere. Angel Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Gaur in the 26th minute of the match. Paulo Gaur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 played minutes rotycks FC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Martinez. Paulo Gaur struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Angel Reyes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for rotycks FC. When Salvador Martinez fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored rotycks FC's protests and gave Salvador Martinez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Resakiados booed when rotycks FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Martinez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Salvador Martinez came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the rotycks FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Martinez couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Gaur was the one to do the kick off. When Paulo Gaur came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the rotycks FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Gaur couldn't finish the play. Gonzalo Sotero's late challenge caught a rotycks FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonzalo Sotero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of rotycks FC booed when Resakiados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Sotero didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Paulo Gaur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Martinez in the 62nd minute of play forced Resakiados's goalkeeper Angel Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Fabian Chago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Oalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Gaur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Angel Reyes made a huge save. Angel Reyes made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Paulo Gaur sent off a good shot on target. Romulo Oalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milton Céliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as rotycks FC's Carlos Rainerio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angel Reyes. That made the score 1-1 after 90 minutes of play. If David Tanio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The rotycks FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Resakiados from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
