In the 24th play minute Filiberto Caetano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jairo Fanuco. 1-0. With a little luck, C. A. Sione's Jairo Fanuco got control of the ball when Filiberto Caetano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Eloy Txilar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Crescencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Camilo Manny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinicio Naelio scored 3-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jairo Fanuco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Tauro to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Pergamino's zone, Benjamin Tauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Crescencio came out of the goal and Benjamin Tauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Filiberto Caetano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pergamino's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Caetano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Fanuco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Camilo Manny made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Fanuco. C. A. Sione's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 67th minute, Gaudencio Perrando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eloy Txilar struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Marcial Crescencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Sione. Marcial Crescencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Tauro in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, C. A. Sione was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Selmo to maneuver through the defense. If Eloy Txilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Manny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Fanuco having to interfere. Camilo Manny took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jairo Fanuco. Jairo Fanuco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pergamino fans cheered their team off the field, for while C. A. Sione had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
