With a little luck, Pergamino's Marcial Crescencio got control of the ball when Virgilio Jaen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Diego Salbatore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tambillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Salbatore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Crescencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Virgilio Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Camilo Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Barrionuevo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Tambillos defense, Camilo Manny kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urbano Tomi. The Tambillos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urbano Tomi should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Naelio in the 48th minute of play forced Tambillos's goalkeeper Urbano Tomi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After a defensive mix-up in Tambillos's zone, Camilo Manny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Tomi came out of the goal and Camilo Manny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Filiberto Caetano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Urbano Tomi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camilo Manny went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 66 minutes, Camilo Manny mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pergamino and the Tambillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pergamino's Camilo Manny got a free kick in the 66th minute. Marcial Crescencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Salbatore in the 67th minute of the match. If Diego Salbatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tambillos's goalkeeper Urbano Tomi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Narciso Mateo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgilio Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Diego Salbatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Crescencio having to interfere. The Tambillos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pergamino's performance. The match ended with a win for Pergamino.
