The referee ignored Hucal AFC's protests and gave Teofilo Savier a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hucal AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fernan Gabrio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jairo Fanuco having to make a save. 46 minutes into the match, Hucal AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Tauro came free, but Emilio Edorta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
