Spectators: 7170 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Diego Salbatore took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mario Alberto Kempes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Tomi having to interfere. After having played for 5 minutes, Mario Alberto Kempes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Nicolás de los Arroyo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Alberto Kempes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Tambillos's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Sol came free, but Urbano Tomi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Eugenio Sol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iker Matei was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Narciso Mateo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. When Mario Alberto Kempes came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the San Nicolás de los Arroyo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Alberto Kempes couldn't finish the play. Tiburcio Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Urbano Tomi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, San Nicolás de los Arroyo's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Claris came free, but Iker Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Mario Alberto Kempes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mario Alberto Kempes might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urbano Tomi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Alberto Kempes ran back to his position shaking his head. If Tiburcio Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute Mario Alberto Kempes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Tomi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Alberto Kempes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Urbano Tomi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Alberto Kempes made a kick off. Tambillos's Urbano Tomi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Franco in the 53rd minute of play. When Eugenio Sol fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Nicolás de los Arroyo's protests and gave Eugenio Sol a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, San Nicolás de los Arroyo's Eugenio Sol got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 75 played minutes Tambillos got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Lizbeth. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Oduwaiye Yaguda put in a rough tackle. 77 minutes into the game, one of San Nicolás de los Arroyo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Diego Salbatore scored 3-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iker Matei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angel Ursino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Urbano Tomi came out and tried to block the shot, but Angel Ursino slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 88th minute. In the 93rd minute, Tiburcio Franco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Urbano Tomi. The goal made the score 3-3. 98 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Lizbeth notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of San Nicolás de los Arroyo's Iker Matei. Iker Matei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Tambillos were victorious despite being under pressure from San Nicolás de los Arroyo for much of the match.
