The referee ignored Hucal AFC's protests and gave Fermin Tristan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hucal AFC's Fermin Tristan got a free kick in the 26th minute. Edgard Leobardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Hucal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Savier. If Filiberto Caetano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Fermin Tristan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Edgard Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Camilo Manny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Edorta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Edgard Leobardo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pergamino's Marcial Crescencio. Marcial Crescencio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcial Crescencio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgard Leobardo went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Hucal AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Everardo Quinto hit a great ball. Teo Dolfo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emilio Edorta. Hucal AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcial Crescencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Gabrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Filiberto Caetano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Camilo Manny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pergamino's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Manny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Edorta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filiberto Caetano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pergamino's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
