Derviš Hadžić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christian Vieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachary Dresik having to interfere. Edinho Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Ieltxu in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Tercero in the 9th minute of play forced Quemapasto FC's goalkeeper Edinho Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Chinchinales AFC's goalkeeper Zachary Dresik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Vieri. Christian Vieri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Zachary Dresik when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Vieri in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zachary Dresik saved Chinchinales AFC from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Pablo Quirze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Nicanor Christobal notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Quemapasto FC's Edinho Dantas. Edinho Dantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Flavio Erramun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zachary Dresik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derviš Hadžić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Vieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Zachary Dresik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Derviš Hadžić got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Quemapasto FC fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Quemapasto FC's Christian Vieri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 45 played minutes Chinchinales AFC got a freekick which was hit by Candido Ortle. If Christian Vieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Vieri to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Quemapasto FC were awarded a corner. Derviš Hadžić went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Rafael Corderun got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-1. 58 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Christian Vieri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zachary Dresik was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Edinho Dantas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 66th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Christian Vieri hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Zachary Dresik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Erramun, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute Christian Vieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachary Dresik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Chinchinales AFC's Edinho Dantas threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iker Ieltxu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Quemapasto FC's Edinho Dantas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Quemapasto FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Chinchinales AFC's zone, Derviš Hadžić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zachary Dresik came out of the goal and Derviš Hadžić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zachary Dresik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derviš Hadžić in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Derviš Hadžić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quemapasto FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Edinho Dantas was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Iker Ieltxu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iker Ieltxu really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. Derviš Hadžić took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zachary Dresik. Zachary Dresik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. When the referee ended the match the Quemapasto FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
