After 5 minutes, Victoriano Natal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the sportivo lipton and the Candelaria players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, sportivo lipton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Natal to maneuver through the defense. When Esteve Rios came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Candelaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Rios couldn't finish the play. Candelaria's Rodrigo Daunte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Lauaxeta in the 13th minute of play. Baltasar Timo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rodrigo Daunte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Daunte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Lauaxeta in the 17th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Candelaria's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Lauaxeta came free, but Rodrigo Daunte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candelaria's Esteve Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabian Rexino during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Candelaria's Fabian Rexino got a free kick in the 24th minute. Esteve Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteve Rios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andres Guillen kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cayetano Lauaxeta made a kick off. Esteve Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Alonzo Christobal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Silverio Beltxe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candelaria's supporters rose to their feet, but Silverio Beltxe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonzo Christobal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Fernanco during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Candelaria got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Fernanco. When Melquiades Llin fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored sportivo lipton's protests and gave Melquiades Llin a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes sportivo lipton got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Llin. Rodrigo Daunte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Timo in the 92nd minute of the match. Silverio Beltxe scored 0-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alonzo Christobal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Candelaria left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than sportivo lipton.
