Luisito Gau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Esdras in the 2nd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Celta's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Jon came free, but Eduardo Jakobe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niceto Montae's late challenge caught a Caseros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niceto Montae helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Celta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Montae to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo Jakobe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Jon in the 7th minute of the match. Roman Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Raimundo Balesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 played minutes Caseros FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Jon. The supporters of Caseros FC booed when Celta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Goizeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Matia in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Jakobe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Santo Esdras got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Santo Esdras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Tomas Jon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caseros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Jon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Jakobe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Esdras to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Silverio Ortzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caseros FC and the Celta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caseros FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! Tomas Jon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Balesio in the 57th minute of play forced Caseros FC's goalkeeper Luisito Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Balesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Gau having to interfere. Caseros FC's Luisito Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Esdras in the 66th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Silvio Cebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Silvio Cebo fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caseros FC's protests and gave Silvio Cebo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Celta booed when Caseros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Cebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes, Eliseo Beila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Celta and the Caseros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Celta getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Eliseo Beila hit a great ball. Eduardo Jakobe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Matia in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Armando Matia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Caseros FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Silvio Cebo hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Celta's Roman Goizeder tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Raimundo Balesio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisito Gau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Celta had won after a very even match.
