The audience thought a goal was coming when Cayetano Escobar got free with Norbert Arendarski in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciclonazo FC's Norbert Arendarski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Ciclonazo FC from getting a goal against them. Marcial Theobald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Fidele, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Cayetano Escobar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Norbert Arendarski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Santiago Emesto struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Marcial Theobald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciclonazo FC. Marcial Theobald stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Emesto's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, F.C. Guardia Imperial's Luciano Egoitz got a free kick in the 29th minute. Alejandro Panpili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Fidele in the 38th minute of play forced F.C. Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Marcial Theobald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Theobald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Emesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Emesto in the 42nd minute of play forced F.C. Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Marcial Theobald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Emesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel Pagomari stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Ariel Pagomari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, F.C. Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Marcial Theobald had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliciano Fidele. If Santiago Emesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, F.C. Guardia Imperial's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Emesto came free, but Marcial Theobald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th match minute, F.C. Guardia Imperial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Abaurre to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, F.C. Guardia Imperial's Ariel Pagomari sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norbert Arendarski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to F.C. Guardia Imperial getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Cayetano Escobar hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Santiago Emesto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcial Theobald was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Santiago Emesto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santiago Emesto really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Feliciano Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Theobald having to interfere. Santiago Emesto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcial Theobald read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After 89 played minutes F.C. Guardia Imperial got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Cordeiro. Santiago Emesto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Theobald having to make a save. Alejandro Panpili hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Norbert Arendarski came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Guardia Imperial's Ariel Pagomari. But to his dismay, Ariel Pagomari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ciclonazo FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
