In the 3rd minute, Conrado Omero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CUBA LIBRE's Cesar Ler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save CUBA LIBRE from getting a goal against them. Efrain Oliviero hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Cesar Ler successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 25th minute Anacleto Kemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Iban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efrain Oliviero during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anacleto Kemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristo Olo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigio Iban having to make a save. Remigio Iban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Olo in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Anacleto Kemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Iban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Olo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Anacleto Kemen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CAVS's Remigio Iban. Remigio Iban was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cristo Olo made the kick off in the second half. Remigio Iban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Olo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Anacleto Kemen kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of CUBA LIBRE booed when CAVS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Oliviero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute CUBA LIBRE were awarded a corner. Moises Emmanuel went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Moises Emmanuel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Remigio Iban quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 65 minutes, Diego Cordareo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAVS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Cordareo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CAVS's Remigio Iban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Olo in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Efrain Oliviero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, CUBA LIBRE's Moises Emmanuel tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Remigio Iban stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Olo's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Anacleto Kemen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigio Iban having to make a save. After 75 played minutes CAVS got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Maurin. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CAVS! The referee gave CUBA LIBRE a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Moises Emmanuel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CAVS's Remigio Iban. 0-2. Moises Emmanuel kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Anacleto Kemen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, CAVS's Remigio Iban got control of the ball when Anacleto Kemen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CAVS's zone, Anacleto Kemen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Iban came out of the goal and Anacleto Kemen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
