Santo Esdras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaime Tibalt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Celta's Roman Goizeder tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Raimundo Balesios short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Jaime Tibalt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Santo Esdras kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jaime Tibalt. That made the score 1-2 in the 69 minute of play. When Santo Esdras came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Celta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Esdras couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Princesas Perversas's zone, Santo Esdras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Tibalt came out of the goal and Santo Esdras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santo Esdras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Tibalt having to interfere. Ildefonso Lon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Jakobe having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Princesas Perversas's Virgilio Cordaryal got a free kick in the 94th minute.
