But to his dismay, Feliciano Fidele quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Feliciano Fidele managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciclonazo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Fidele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Ler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Santiago Emesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ciclonazo FC booed when CUBA LIBRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Omero didn't get a good kick on the ball. CUBA LIBRE's Cesar Ler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Emesto in the 30th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, CUBA LIBRE's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Emesto came free, but Cesar Ler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Ler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Emesto in the 40th minute of the match. Cesar Ler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Emesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Cesar Ler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Fidele in the 45th minute of play. After having played for 48 minutes, Conrado Omero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CUBA LIBRE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Omero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The CUBA LIBRE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ciclonazo FC were winning 1-2.

Ciclonazo FC's Norbert Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Kemen in the 59th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Ciclonazo FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Panpili. Norbert Arendarski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anacleto Kemen's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Cesar Ler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Emesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Feliciano Fidele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Cesar Ler made a huge save. After 68 played minutes CUBA LIBRE got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Napier. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Emesto in the 69th minute of play forced CUBA LIBRE's goalkeeper Cesar Ler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, CUBA LIBRE's goalkeeper Cesar Ler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliciano Fidele. Santiago Emesto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
