After a rather tough play, Buenos Días's Elvio Pacifico got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Angel Quintana's late challenge caught a Buenos Días's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Quintana helped the player get up and apologised. Angel Quintana hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Damian Guter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Eulalio Mano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Fernando Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Mano having to interfere. If Carlos Fernando Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Fernando Meireles in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eulalio Mano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute of the match Baldomero Sidoro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amador Stanislao showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Fernando Meireles in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eulalio Mano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Damian Guter came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Buenos Días fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Guter couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Mergildo in the 43rd minute of play forced Buenos Días's goalkeeper Amador Stanislao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Carlos Fernando Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buenos Días's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Fernando Meireles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
