Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Wilde AC's Bernardo Fagondo in the 5th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Prudencio Fidencio was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Paloma through an amazing save. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Feliciano Lonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paloma's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Lonzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Indalecio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Paloma defense, Gilberto Marcones kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prudencio Fidencio. The Paloma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prudencio Fidencio should have stopped the shot. In the 13th match minute, Wilde AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Beliran to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes Wilde AC got a freekick which was hit by David Beliran. In the 16th match minute, Wilde AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Laurendi to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th match minute, Paloma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Chepe to maneuver through the defense. When Paloma's Feliciano Lonzo in 24 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Serafino Indalecio guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Segundo Timo's late challenge caught a Paloma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Segundo Timo helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wilde AC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Paloma a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joaquin Chepe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wilde AC's Serafino Indalecio. 1-1. Christian Koldobika received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Serafino Indalecio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Paloma's zone, Bernardo Fagondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Fidencio came out of the goal and Bernardo Fagondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilberto Marcones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Prudencio Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Wilde AC's Bernardo Fagondo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Prudencio Fidencio. That made the score 2-1 after 42 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Fagondo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Wilde AC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Leonides Fernendo hit a great ball. Prudencio Fidencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Fagondo in the 54th minute of play. Feliciano Lonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Lonzo got free with Serafino Indalecio in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilberto Marcones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Fidencio having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Paloma's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Marcones came free, but Prudencio Fidencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Fagondo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Feliciano Lonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hipolito Laurentzi came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Paloma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito Laurentzi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Laurendi in the 91st minute of play forced Paloma's goalkeeper Prudencio Fidencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gilberto Marcones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Bernardo Fagondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prudencio Fidencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Marcones in the 97th minute of play. Paloma's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
