In the 6th minute, Alfredo Cordero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Floresta Vengo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Fausto Erasto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Anselmo Senon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desiderio Javiar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzalo Bordat went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Desiderio Javiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Bordat's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Justino Peru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by De Floresta Vengo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gonzalo Bordat was slow to take the kick. During this time Dwight FC's players had a chance to rest. Dario Chorche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Eder, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, De Floresta Vengo FC's Felix Lucado got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Anselmo Senon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Lorien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Lorien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Desiderio Javiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Gonzalo Bordat made a precise shot to the right of Desiderio Javiar. De Floresta Vengo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When Diego Eder came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the De Floresta Vengo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Eder couldn't finish the play. Dwight FC's Manuel Felipillo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Dwight FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gonzalo Bordat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Diego Eder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Chorche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Txomin's late challenge caught a Dwight FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Txomin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dwight FC booed when De Floresta Vengo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Txomin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Lorien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Justino Peru dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Desiderio Javiar, 1-3. Anselmo Senon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Desiderio Javiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Javiar came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Dwight FC's Gonzalo Bordat. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Bordat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Justino Peru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Desiderio Javiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Anselmo Senon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dwight FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Senon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Javiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dwight FC's Anselmo Senon got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. De Floresta Vengo FC's Desiderio Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Lorien in the 88th minute of play. Justino Peru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Desiderio Javiar came out and tried to block the shot, but Justino Peru slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 89th minute. Gonzalo Bordat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Dwight FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than De Floresta Vengo FC throughout the match.
