Spectators: 6446 (Terracing: 5445, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 1) Sixto Terciero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Sao Caetano booed when Gladiadores F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Botello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Ugaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Terciero in the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Sixto Terciero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sao Caetano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Terciero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sixto Terciero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tomas Ugaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Ugaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Cresenciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 29th minute, Sixto Terciero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Ugaitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 45 minutes into the match, Sao Caetano's goalkeeper Hector Taurino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rigoberto Franco. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Gladiadores F.C's zone, Sixto Terciero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Ugaitz came out of the goal and Sixto Terciero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gladiadores F.C's Tomas Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Terciero in the 57th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Narciso Botello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Taurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Sao Caetano's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Franco came free, but Hector Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Botello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Taurino having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Mario Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Hector Taurino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cayetano Stanislao hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiadores F.C's zone, Igor Cresenciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Ugaitz came out of the goal and Igor Cresenciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cayetano Stanislao hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Hector Taurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gladiadores F.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sao Caetano for a fine match.
