Leon Ulemek charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Ulemek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Tocala y Picá got a freekick which was hit by Leon Ulemek. The supporters of Payogasta F.C booed when Tocala y Picá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Teyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pepillo Castañiza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Montae in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Lluc got free with Agustin Tajo in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute, Abel Lluc fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Candido Javiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, Payogasta F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Tauro to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute, Tocala y Picá's Gergely Tóth ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Agustin Tajo. Agustin Tajo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 47 minutes into the match, Abel Lluc notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Payogasta F.C's Agustin Tajo. Agustin Tajo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Mon to make the kick off. A collision led to Payogasta F.C getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Timoteo Tauro hit a great ball. Pepillo Castañiza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Montae, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Payogasta F.C's Candido Montae nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pepillo Castañiza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Tocala y Picá's Patricio Aureo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Timoteo Tauro in the 65 minute of the game. After 68 minutes of play, Tocala y Picá's Gergely Tóth made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agustin Tajo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the match, Tocala y Picá's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Mon came free, but Pepillo Castañiza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Tocala y Picá's goalkeeper Pepillo Castañiza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgard Beltxe. 75 minutes into the match, Payogasta F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gergely Tóth came free, but Agustin Tajo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timoteo Tauro during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Timoteo Tauro hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the game, Tomas Mon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pepillo Castañiza. Tomas Mon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Agustin Tajo came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tocala y Picá's Abel Lluc. But to his dismay, Abel Lluc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. If Abel Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abel Lluc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agustin Tajo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Payogasta F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Montae to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Aureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Tajo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Lluc in the 95th minute of play forced Payogasta F.C's goalkeeper Agustin Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Payogasta F.C's Agustin Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Aureo in the 97th minute of play. Tocala y Picá walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
