Santiago Perico did an outstanding performance 24 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-0 to the right of an irritated Victor Abajas in the goal. When Lucio Servando came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Herrera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Servando couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Escape libre:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Herrera:s goal. In the 45th minute, Lucio Servando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 49th minute, Sebastian Martxel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Escape libre's Aldo Barea didn't even have to move.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eloy Tiniebra to make the kick off. Victor Abajas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Tiniebra, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Lucio Servando succeeded in the game's 59th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Aldo Barea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucio Servando in the 87th minute. Enrique Aritza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Aldo Barea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Abajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Tiniebra in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Adrian Eleder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escape libre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Eleder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Herrera eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
