After a defensive mix-up in • La Pata Mocha FC •'s zone, Americo Ciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaj Andersson came out of the goal and Americo Ciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 7 played minutes • La Pata Mocha FC • got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Lia. 9 minutes into the match, • La Pata Mocha FC •'s goal looked a bit too open when Americo Ciano came free, but Kaj Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Los Andes defense, Jacinto Azibar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvestre Veremundo. The Club Atletico Los Andes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Veremundo should have stopped the shot. Silvestre Veremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Azibar in the 23rd minute of play. Kaj Andersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Haritzeder went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Silvestre Veremundo made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Jacinto Azibar sent off a good shot on target. Jacinto Azibar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Silvestre Veremundo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerzy Piwowarski got free with Silvestre Veremundo in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Azibar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Veremundo was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Jacinto Azibar struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Silvestre Veremundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for • La Pata Mocha FC •. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Silvestre Veremundo came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by • La Pata Mocha FC •'s Jerzy Piwowarski. But to his dismay, Jerzy Piwowarski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. • La Pata Mocha FC •'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
