When Casimiro Sindo fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciénega's protests and gave Casimiro Sindo a yellow card for diving instead. Casimiro Sindo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Constantino Amaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Laurin having to interfere. The supporters of Cabildo booed when Ciénega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Sindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Jeraldo to strike the kick off in the second half. Godfredo Frechoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Jeraldo's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. During the 90th minute of the match Casimiro Sindo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Casimiro Sindo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Cabildo booed when Ciénega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Sindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Cabildo's Godfredo Frechoso threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Humberto Jeraldo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Constantino Amaya kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ciénega's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
