Spectators: 5701 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Constantino Amaya got the match started through his kick off. Fidel Lorien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nemesio Ursino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Loramendi hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Baldomiro Bide sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ciénega's Godfredo Frechoso didn't even have to move. 14 minutes into the game, La Gota FC's Fidel Lorien nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Godfredo Frechoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Godfredo Frechoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Lorien in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ciénega's Constantino Amaya got a free kick in the 30th minute. Gervasio Lixandro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ismael Loramendi. Constantino Amaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Lixandro having to interfere. Gervasio Lixandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Amaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Casimiro Sindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Constantino Amaya took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Gervasio Lixandro to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fidel Lorien was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, La Gota FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Urbasa to maneuver through the defense. Fidel Lorien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Frechoso having to interfere. La Gota FC's Gervasio Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Marz in the 63rd minute of play. Constantino Amaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gervasio Lixandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rodolfo Marz came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ciénega fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Marz couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Nemesio Ursino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godfredo Frechoso. Ciénega's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Ursino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. If Nemesio Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Lorien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Godfredo Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
