After 30 played minutes Manantiales got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Florian. Reynaldo Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureliano Etxahun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Club Cultural Gerli's zone, Aureliano Etxahun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Gora came out of the goal and Aureliano Etxahun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cipriano Tancredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 minutes, Albino Jaunti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manantiales and the Club Cultural Gerli players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club Cultural Gerli booed when Manantiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Jaunti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Cipriano Tancredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Gora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornelio Eyague hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Cipriano Tancredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jimeno Uzuri fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Cultural Gerli's protests and gave Jimeno Uzuri a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Club Cultural Gerli:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Manantiales:s goal. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for Manantiales. Cornelio Eyague stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Teodosio Gora. 1-0. Aureliano Etxahun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodosio Gora read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Aureliano Etxahun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Gora having to interfere. Teodosio Gora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Tancredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Manantiales walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
