La Gota FC's Gervasio Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Etxahun in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Cipriano Tancredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, La Gota FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Etxahun came free, but Gervasio Lixandro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Nemesio Ursino made a precise shot to the right of Aureliano Perez. Manantiales's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Cipriano Tancredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Gervasio Lixandro made a huge save. Gervasio Lixandro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Etxahun's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Theobald during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
