Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Constantino Amaya kicked off to start the match. Godfredo Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Etxahun, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Cipriano Tancredo struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Godfredo Frechoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manantiales. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Nahia during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ciénega getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Teodoro Nahia hit a great ball. Godfredo Frechoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Tancredo in the 11th minute. Rodolfo Marz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureliano Etxahun in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godfredo Frechoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ismael Loramendi's late challenge caught a Manantiales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ciénega fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! The crowd rose to their feet as Manantiales's Aureliano Etxahun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Godfredo Frechoso. That made the score 2-0 after 42 minutes of play. Rodolfo Marz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Perez having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliano Etxahun was the one to do the kick off. If Ismael Loramendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 53 played minutes Ciénega got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Sindo. Godfredo Frechoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Tancredo's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes Manantiales got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Lapurdi. In the 59th minute, Aureliano Etxahun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Manantiales's Aureliano Etxahun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godfredo Frechoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodolfo Marz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Perez having to interfere. If Casimiro Sindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Tancredo took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godfredo Frechoso. Godfredo Frechoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Aureliano Perez came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Ciénega's Rodolfo Marz. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Marz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After having played for 90 minutes, Aureliano Etxahun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manantiales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Etxahun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godfredo Frechoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Tancredo in the 91st minute of play. Manantiales's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
