Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hermengildo Laurgain started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Hipolito Alfonso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jose Iago. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Miliano in the 17th minute of play forced Espíritus Chocarreros's goalkeeper Jose Iago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Saverio Miliano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rancul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 21st minute, Zacarias Jurdan made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Berriotxoa. Rancul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Rancul's Hermengildo Laurgain got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Espíritus Chocarreros's Jose Iago got control of the ball when Hipolito Alfonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hermengildo Laurgain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Zacarias Jurdan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espíritus Chocarreros's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Jurdan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Berriotxoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hipolito Alfonso in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jose Iago, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Figueroa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hipolito Alfonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jose Iago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espíritus Chocarreros's Simon Figueroa got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casimiro Raymundo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Espíritus Chocarreros's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Alfonso came free, but Jose Iago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Hermengildo Laurgain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Iago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rancul's Hermengildo Laurgain in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espíritus Chocarreros's goalie prevented a goal. If Hermengildo Laurgain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. Jose Iago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Espíritus Chocarreros's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Alfonso came free, but Jose Iago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Hulberto hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Espíritus Chocarreros's Jose Iago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Laurgain in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Hermengildo Laurgain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rancul's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermengildo Laurgain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Iago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute Simon Figueroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Berriotxoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
