Maximino Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Prejun in the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Israel Prejun in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Urbasa saved de locos from getting behind. Celso Precioso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliano Oriche in the 10th minute. Blas Chinto kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. de locos's Fulgencio Ferrando got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fulgencio Ferrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Enzo Ourente threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paso's Cornelio Soin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cornelio Soin charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Soin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Cornelio Soin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Paso getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Blas Chinto hit a great ball. When Fulgencio Ferrando came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the de locos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Ferrando couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Paso's Honorio Munio got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 38th minute, Israel Prejun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th match minute, Paso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Munio to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Ubaldo Sanchez in the 41st minute really tested Celso Precioso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cornelio Soin kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Israel Prejun made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Paso got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Ursino. Celso Precioso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Ferrando, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Celso Precioso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Ferrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Paso getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Cornelio Soin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in de locos's zone, Israel Prejun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Urbasa came out of the goal and Israel Prejun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximino Urbasa made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Israel Prejun sent off a good shot on target. If Fulgencio Ferrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
