Humberto Cebo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vencedores-Vencidos.... Drysdale AFC's Humberto Cebo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Feliz in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Gartzi during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Roman Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 22nd minute, when Vencedores-Vencidos...'s Daniel Madaleno after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Humberto Cebo in Drysdale AFC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Paolo Otsoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Orlin in the 27th minute of the match. Donato Gau's late challenge caught a Drysdale AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Gau helped the player get up and apologised. Donato Gau hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Roman Gartzi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paolo Otsoa. Vencedores-Vencidos...'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Drysdale AFC booed when Vencedores-Vencidos... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Montrelle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nunez Reynardo's late challenge caught a Vencedores-Vencidos...'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nunez Reynardo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Drysdale AFC's Nunez Reynardo got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Rodolfo Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Orlin in the 44th minute of play forced Vencedores-Vencidos...'s goalkeeper Paolo Otsoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Otsoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Nikola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Vincent couldn't finish the play. Nestor Oskitz, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Vencedores-Vencidos...'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Vincent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
