When Pablo Montel came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Halcones FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Montel couldn't finish the play. After 33 played minutes ♠Sepultura de Almas♠ got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Ticho. Angel Ibar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Aztore having to interfere. In the 38th minute Angel Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Aztore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Guifre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgardo Pacho having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angel Ibar was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, ♠Sepultura de Almas♠'s Vicente Aztore got control of the ball when Pablo Montel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pablo Montel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Vicente Aztore made a huge save. If Angel Ibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Aztore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Ibar in the 60th minute of the match. Edgardo Pacho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Jerrold, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute.
