The supporters of Yaretayo booed when Ocean FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Gizon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Gipuzkoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gualterio Espiridion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Gipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristobal Urritz kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes, Yaretayo's Pascual Fonda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gualterio Espiridion came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yaretayo reached it. Cristobal Urritz kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Augusto Gipuzkoa came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Yaretayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Gipuzkoa couldn't finish the play. If Augusto Gipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ocean FC's Gualterio Espiridion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Ciano in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Lastur during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Yaretayo booed when Ocean FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Lastur didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Estevez to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ocean FC's zone, Augusto Gipuzkoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Espiridion came out of the goal and Augusto Gipuzkoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ocean FC's Amado Herensuge got a free kick in the 71st minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Ciro Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ocean FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Estevez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gualterio Espiridion made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Augusto Gipuzkoa sent off a good shot on target. After 80 minutes of play, Ocean FC's Honorio Gizon made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santos Intxixu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ocean FC's Gualterio Espiridion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Shantala in the 84th minute of play. If Silvestre Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Yaretayo's Silvestre Ciano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualterio Espiridion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 97 minutes, Freddy Manuelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ocean FC and the Yaretayo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Gualterio Espiridion, was totally fooled by Yaretayo's Pascual Fonda, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
