Cavernícolas Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Tano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavernícolas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Angel Bras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zacarias Bembe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Txartiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmacio Tano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Dalmacio Tano made the kick off in the second half. Susques FC's Herminio Fe got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zacarias Bembe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalmacio Tano's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Susques FC's zone, Isidoro Ugutz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Bembe came out of the goal and Isidoro Ugutz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Susques FC's Zacarias Bembe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Susques FC from getting a goal against them. Leopoldo Kepa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Angel Bras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guaberto Urtun's late challenge caught a Susques FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Dalmacio Tano came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Cavernícolas Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Tano couldn't finish the play. Jaime Salvidor's late challenge caught a Susques FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Salvidor helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Susques FC booed when Cavernícolas Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Salvidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Cavernícolas Futbol Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cavernícolas Futbol Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
