Spectators: 7263 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) C.A. GABY's Javier Cordarin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Javier Cordarin in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Nazario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silvano Dalmau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Gilen having to interfere. In the 11th minute Silvano Dalmau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Gilen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, C.A. GABY's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Dalmau came free, but Marciano Gilen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marciano Gilen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Orlondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, C.A. GABY's Javier Cordarin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armando Nazario. Armando Nazario yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 29 minutes, Rene Orlondo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. GABY's Marciano Gilen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. C.A. GABY's Marciano Gilen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Dalmau in the 33rd minute of play. Marciano Gilen came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Carrizal FC's Silvano Dalmau. But to his dismay, Silvano Dalmau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Silvano Dalmau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The C.A. GABY players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carrizal FC were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Orlondo to make the kick off. C.A. GABY's Marciano Gilen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Orlondo in the 55th minute of play. Benigno Bernard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Armando Nazario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Javier Cordarin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. GABY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Marciano Gilen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvano Dalmau in the 65th minute. If Rene Orlondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvano Dalmau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Javier Cordarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Benigno Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Orlondo in the 88th minute of play forced C.A. GABY's goalkeeper Marciano Gilen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rene Orlondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Carrizal FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
