An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Cristos in the 3rd minute of play forced Beatniks's goalkeeper Arnoldo Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Animán AFC's Horacio Egun in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beatniks's goalie prevented a goal. Beatniks's Arnoldo Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Cristos in the 7th minute of play. Bruno Marko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Horacio Egun came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Animán AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Egun couldn't finish the play. Cayetano Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Animán AFC's zone, Remigio Salvidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nunez Leheren came out of the goal and Remigio Salvidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beatniks's Arnoldo Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Egun in the 17th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Animán AFC's goalie and right to Remigio Salvidor. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Animán AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 27th minute, Santo Cristos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Santo Cristos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cayetano Arias fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Animán AFC's protests and gave Cayetano Arias a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Animán AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cayetano Arias hit a great ball. If Bruno Marko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Egun in the 36th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Marko to make the kick off. Bruno Marko struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Nunez Leheren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beatniks. After a defensive mix-up in Animán AFC's zone, Bruno Marko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nunez Leheren came out of the goal and Bruno Marko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Bruno Marko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beatniks's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Marko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nunez Leheren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th match minute, Beatniks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Blasi to maneuver through the defense. Horacio Egun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Arnoldo Ranolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nunez Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Marko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Remigio Salvidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70thth minute of the game Bruno Marko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Animán AFC's Nunez Leheren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Remigio Salvidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Leheren having to interfere. Efrain Blasi charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Blasi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Beatniks's Efrain Blasi got a free kick in the 76th minute. Beatniks's Arnoldo Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Egun in the 80th minute of play. Santo Cristos scored 0-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnoldo Ranolfo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute Bruno Marko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Leheren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remigio Salvidor's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Bruno Marko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horacio Egun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Animán AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Animán AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
