Gonzalo Castelli FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Rengo F.C. the free kick. The shot was stopped by Cipriano Eleazar but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Gonzalo Castelli FC's zone, Ernesto Katia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Eleazar came out of the goal and Ernesto Katia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Gonzalo Castelli FC's Eriberto Feliz got a free kick in the 25th minute. Isaac Oinatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Cipriano Eleazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto Feliz was shown his second yellow card after 30 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cipriano Eleazar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cipriano Eleazar stood somewhat misplaced when Manuel Pudes came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 32 minute. 35 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Castelli FC's goalkeeper Cipriano Eleazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Oinatz. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angel Firme was the one to do the kick off. El Rengo F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Pudes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Eleazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Castelli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Oinatz came free, but Cipriano Eleazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
