In the 4th minute, Muschaca's Tiburcio Reno dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Tiburcio Reno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muschaca's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiburcio Reno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Asteri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 7 minutes, Maximino Martino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taquello and the Muschaca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Maximino Martino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inocencio Lluc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Melquiades Asteri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Reno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tiburcio Reno fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muschaca's protests and gave Tiburcio Reno a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Muschaca getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Tiburcio Reno hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Muschaca's goal looked a bit too open when David Ramond came free, but Rafael Tabor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Eron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rafael Tabor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was beautiful to see Muschaca's Niceto Martinez in action when he in the 35th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Inocencio Lluc's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Melquiades Asteri firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Jonas Etor fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taquello's protests and gave Jonas Etor a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute Tiburcio Reno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiburcio Reno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernabe Oinatz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Tiburcio Reno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Tiburcio Reno sped through Taquello's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Melquiades Asteri. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Reno in the 66th minute of play forced Taquello's goalkeeper Melquiades Asteri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes, Emilio Su mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taquello and the Muschaca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Taquello was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Su to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Asteri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Lluc, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Jonas Etor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Tabor having to interfere. Muschaca's Rafael Tabor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Ramond in the 88th minute of play. Tiburcio Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Asteri having to interfere. After 97 minutes of play, Muschaca's Tiburcio Reno made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Asteri was left in no man's land by his defense there!
