Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isidoro Ongile started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramon Caetano during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Buchanan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Caetano to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes Ampallo got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Olivar. If Silvano Cordarrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Buchanan's zone, Silvano Cordarrel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Ordono came out of the goal and Silvano Cordarrel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvano Cordarrel got free with Arnoldo Ordono in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ampallo's Isidoro Ongile suffered a concussion after 26 minutes and had to leave the field. Ramon Caetano was shown his second yellow card after 26 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Ampallo booed when Buchanan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvano Cordarrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gaston Eguzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Mark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Leonel Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Ordono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Eutor in the 36th minute of the match. Leonel Olivar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Ordono read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. If Silvano Cordarrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Esteve Eutor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 43 minutes, Esteve Eutor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ampallo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Eutor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Mark to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Silvano Cordarrel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ampallo's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Cordarrel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Ordono breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucas Mark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gaston Eguzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Olivar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Ordono having to interfere. When Esteve Eutor fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ampallo's protests and gave Esteve Eutor a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Ampallo got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Eutor. In the 64th minute Silvano Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Ordono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Lucas Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buchanan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Mark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ermegildo Nabar's late challenge caught a Ampallo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Nabar helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes Buchanan got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Nabar. With a little luck, Ampallo's Gaston Eguzki got control of the ball when Lucas Mark tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, one of Ampallo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ampallo. Gaston Eguzki went to the wrong direction when Orlando Estavan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Lucas Mark blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaston Eguzki having to make a save. The supporters of Buchanan booed when Ampallo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Cordarrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Buchanan's Lucas Mark nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaston Eguzki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1.
