Lorenzo Teofilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Cayetano Lope managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argentinos Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Lope was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernabe Segio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th match minute, Vilmer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Enekoitz to maneuver through the defense. Argentinos Juniors's Baltasar Enekoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19thth minute of the game Baltasar Enekoitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vilmer FC's Bernabe Segio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alvaro Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidro Frederik, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 29th minute, Filiberto Ruy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Argentinos Juniors getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Edgard Elivareo hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Argentinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Feliu came free, but Alvaro Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vilmer FC's zone, Baltasar Enekoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Segio came out of the goal and Baltasar Enekoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cayetano Lope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltasar Enekoitz was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Timo in the 52nd minute of play forced Vilmer FC's goalkeeper Bernabe Segio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Dubardo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vilmer FC's zone, Aquiles Timo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Segio came out of the goal and Aquiles Timo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Baltasar Enekoitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentinos Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jeronimo Mancio charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeronimo Mancio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Argentinos Juniors booed when Vilmer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Mancio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Mancio kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Baltasar Enekoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Segio having to interfere. Alvaro Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Ruy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernabe Segio came out of the goal and Baltasar Enekoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Vilmer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Enekoitz came free, but Bernabe Segio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltasar Enekoitz in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabe Segio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Argentinos Juniors had played much better football throughout.
