In the 33rd minute of the match, Faustino Silban got a very nice opportunity to score, but Camilo Lapurdi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Saul Dolfo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Lapurdi was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 40th minute, Cotita's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Saul Dolfo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Faustino Silban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Lapurdi having to interfere. Saul Dolfo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Lapurdi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Faustino Silban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Camilo Lapurdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Faustino Silban managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Máquina de Matar's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Silban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Lapurdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saul Dolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Lapurdi having to interfere. Saul Dolfo scored 2-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Lapurdi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cotita's Camilo Lapurdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Silban in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Saul Dolfo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Máquina de Matar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 83rd match minute, Cotita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Odol to maneuver through the defense. Faustino Silban scored 4-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Lapurdi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Saul Dolfo came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the La Máquina de Matar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Dolfo couldn't finish the play.
