Eliseo Munio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Tristan having to interfere. Eliseo Munio's late challenge caught a Perubians FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Munio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Aires United FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Eliseo Munio hit a great ball. Jeronimo Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Fidel Katia charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Blas Tristan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Artemio Feliz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Sotero was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Artemio Feliz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Sotero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Hilario Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Blas Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th play minute Alejandro Rodas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leonel Sotero. 1-1. 64 minutes into the match, Aires United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Feliz came free, but Leonel Sotero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aires United FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romulo Lico was slow to take the kick. During this time Perubians FC's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Perubians FC's zone, Aquilino Uzuri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Tristan came out of the goal and Aquilino Uzuri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the game, Alejandro Rodas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Leonel Sotero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Artemio Feliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Sotero having to interfere. Aires United FC's Leonel Sotero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Aires United FC from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute Artemio Feliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Aires United FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Perubians FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Perubians FC.
