Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Damian Ishmael took the kick off in the first half of the match. Santos Mirande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Ishmael in the 6th minute of play. Mario Mark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Mario Mark had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santos Mirande. Trejos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Mark was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mario Mark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Santos Mirande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apolo Oliveiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lisandro Toli hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Nunez Sancho was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mario Mark took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santos Mirande. Santos Mirande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 40 minutes, Lisandro Toli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trejos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Toli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mario Mark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Trejos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Totoral AFC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Nayely made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Lisandro Toli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trejos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Toli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Perpinya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lisandro Toli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Toli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Perpinya having to interfere. If Lisandro Toli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Froilan Perpinya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lisandro Toli's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Lisandro Toli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Nayely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Perpinya having to interfere. Santos Mirande made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Mario Mark sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the game, Trejos FC's Juan Nayely nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Froilan Perpinya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Totoral AFC's zone, Lisandro Toli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Perpinya came out of the goal and Lisandro Toli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lisandro Toli struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Froilan Perpinya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trejos FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Toli in the 93rd minute of play forced Totoral AFC's goalkeeper Froilan Perpinya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Trejos FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
