The referee ignored Barbielive's protests and gave Salvador Liher a yellow card for diving instead. Clodoveo Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Cutberto in the 62nd minute of play. Clodoveo Orlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 85 minutes, Mario Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Durazno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Cutberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Durazno's Celestino Porfiro got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Mauro Valiente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Celestino Porfiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celestino Porfiro struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Clodoveo Orlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durazno. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Eugenio Birjaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Durazno's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Birjaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Orlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
