Wilfredo Matai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Abel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Teyo having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Fontana's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Hechter came free, but Niceto Orlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Acevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fontana's attentive Hector Aznaro managed to snatch the ball when Honorio Romildo made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. Justo Teyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Instituto's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Abel came free, but Justo Teyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Abel made a kick off. Genaro Galo's late challenge caught a Fontana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Galo helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 54 minutes, Fausto Acevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fontana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Acevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Fausto Acevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fontana's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Acevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justo Teyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Saul Hechter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Honorio Romildo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Fontana's Lucas Abel got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fausto Acevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Acevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Teyo having to interfere. Justo Teyo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fausto Acevedo went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Lucas Abel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justo Teyo was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Fontana were the better team. Fontana's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
