Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Placido Cortez made the kick off which started today's match. Placido Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Taurino having to interfere. After 7 played minutes, Niupi FC's Robustiano Johans shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaime Salbatore came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Niupi FC reached it. In the 10th minute, Simon Flor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Simon Flor made a precise shot to the right of Jaime Salbatore. Escalares AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Flor in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Salbatore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaime Salbatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Danel, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Niupi FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Pastor Chorache scored to the left of an out of position Edgardo Taurino, making the score, 1-1. Placido Cortez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Placido Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Taurino having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Niupi FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Gipuzkoa. Jaime Salbatore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Flor went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Jaime Salbatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Danel, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Placido Cortez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Edgardo Taurino made a huge save. After 43 minutes of play, Niupi FC's Guillermo Danel made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaime Salbatore was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jaime Salbatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Danel in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Niupi FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Pastor Chorache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Edgardo Taurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvano Neron kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes, Escalares AC's Martin Etor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgardo Taurino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Escalares AC reached it. A hard shot 62 in the game by Guillermo Danel from a close distance when the talented Jaime Salbatore managed to make a qualified save. Escalares AC's players were relieved. 67 minutes into the match, Escalares AC's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Flor came free, but Jaime Salbatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Placido Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Edgardo Taurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Niupi FC booed when Escalares AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Arnalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Taurino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pastor Chorache's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. If Pastor Chorache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Chorache struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Edgardo Taurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escalares AC. Godofredo Arnalt kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Jaime Salbatore acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Robustiano Johans. Niupi FC's Edgardo Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Cilio in the 93rd minute of play. With a little luck, Escalares AC's Jaime Salbatore got control of the ball when Guillermo Danel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Niupi FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Escalares AC side.
