In the 10th match minute, La Tradicion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Hunfredo to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Casimiro Ponciano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Frías fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ruperto Pietro had several of the Frías's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Freddy Barea as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 24th minute, Eleuterio Gora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Casimiro Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Ibar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 31st minute, Ruperto Pietro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Freddy Barea. The goal made the score 2-2. After having played for 39 minutes, Ruperto Pietro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Tradicion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Pietro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Frías's goalkeeper Freddy Barea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gogo Gabino during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Frías booed when La Tradicion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Gabino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Frías's Freddy Barea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Pietro in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th match minute, La Tradicion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Bastiaro to maneuver through the defense. Candido Bizens short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Sergio Ibar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 57th minute Casimiro Ponciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Ibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Ibar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, Candido Bizen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sergio Ibar, 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Baldomero Onbera managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Tradicion's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Onbera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Barea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Candido Bizen got free with Sergio Ibar in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Candido Bizen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Sergio Ibar made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Pietro in the 87th minute of play forced Frías's goalkeeper Freddy Barea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruperto Pietro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, La Tradicion's Faustino Alonso got a free kick in the 90th minute. The supporters of Frías booed when La Tradicion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Alonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddy Barea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Pietro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
