Leo Nerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Manex having to interfere. With 19 minutes on the clock, Silverio Dimo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cuervo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Dominik Milan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidio Iraido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmacio Manex read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Cuervo FC got a freekick which was hit by Leo Nerio. Marcos Admon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Lauaxeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Cuervo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Bonadona came free, but Marcos Admon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edelmiro Baudelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Marcos Admon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Cuervo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GARNIC FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dominik Milan to strike the kick off in the second half. When Leo Nerio came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Cuervo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Nerio couldn't finish the play. Dominik Milan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmacio Manex read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Cuervo FC's Leo Nerio got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 68 played minutes Cuervo FC got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Rocendo. In the 72nd minute Leo Nerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Manex saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Leo Nerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuervo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Nerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Dominik Milan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuervo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominik Milan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Manex breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dominik Milan struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Cuervo FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
