After a defensive mix-up in Chachirita FC's zone, Orlando Gonzalez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Montrelle came out of the goal and Orlando Gonzalez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustino Tristan during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes, Haumonia's Camilo Hermon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florencio Montrelle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Camilo Hermon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Florencio Montrelle. Chachirita FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Florencio Montrelle came out of the goal and Elpidio Karlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Basilio Venceslas made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Chachirita FC's Florencio Montrelle got control of the ball when Elpidio Karlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Gonzalez in the 56th minute of play forced Chachirita FC's goalkeeper Florencio Montrelle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Montrelle having to interfere. Basilio Venceslas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67th minute Urbano Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Nikola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Nikola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Francesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
